Resolution No. 17 Creating the Monmouth County Planning Board

The Monmouth County Planning Board was established by the Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1954, pursuant to the County Planning Enabling Act (N.J.S.A. 40: 27-1 et seq).  The Planning Board is responsible for the review and approval of any site plan or subdivision application which impacts county road or drainage facilities.  It is also responsible for the development and adoption of a County Master Plan, also known as the Growth Management Guide, and fostering cooperation among the municipalities concerning regional planning initiatives.

Unless otherwise indicated, the meetings of the Monmouth County Planning Board will be held at 2 p.m. in the Monmouth County Planning Board Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Hall of Records Annex Building, One East Main Street, Freehold, New Jersey 07728. Click here for directions.
