The New Jersey Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired and the Monmouth County Health Department are co-sponsoring free eye screening clinics for eye health, visual acuity, glaucoma (for those who cannot afford these exams, or who do not have health insurance or are underinsured.) Mission Statement:
The mission of the Monmouth County Health Department is to protect the health and welfare of the residents within the Board of Health system.
Public health is the science of improving the health of a community through broad-based community programming. The Monmouth County Health Department is a full-service health department providing residents with health education, clinical and preventive health services, environmental and consumer health programs, communicable disease control and public health preparedness.
