Sure, everyone loves to win "free prizes and cash", but free means FREE. If you're being told you need to "pay a small fee for shipping or insurance" or any other reason to send money, it's not free. Hang up!
Some callers might not ask for cash, they may be digging for information! Information is very valuable for criminals, and personal information is bought and sold on the Dark Web. Any legitimate caller that is contacting you should already know whatever information they need to send a prize.
Do NOT give out ANY personal information to people you don't know. Your home address, your banking information, your Social Security number, etc. is all personal information. Don't share it! Hang up!
