The Monmouth County Office on Aging has information about the services, programs and resources available to county residents 60 years of age and older.
The primary goal is to ensure that our older citizens receive the services that will help them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
The Office on Aging was established by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1975 and utilizes federal, state, and county funds to develop programs and partnerships to deliver essential services to the seniors of Monmouth County.
Since 2006 Medicare Part D offers help paying for some prescription medications. The coverage is voluntary and is handled by private insurance companies. The monthly premium varies and the formulary for each plan varies.
