Monmouth ACTS: Assisting Community through Services

The Monmouth County Department of Human Services has joined the Monmouth County Human Services Advisory Council in a public/private collaboration designed to develop actionable plans to address the diverse needs of residents.

As part of this process, the County of Monmouth completed a Human Services Needs Assessment that looked at the needs and aspirations of county residents, and the strengths, capabilities, and interests of residents, service providers and community stakeholders. The final report, entitled A Call to Action, outlines priorities for the County and a framework for action in the areas of:

  • Early childhood success
  • Positive youth development
  • Aging
  • Homelessness
  • Transportation
  • Financial Empowerment
  • Mental Health & Addictions
