Tax Board MOD IV

This shared service currently enrolls 41 of the 53 Monmouth County municipalities. As all Monmouth municipalities have to utilize and operate state-mandated tax assessment software, municipalities utilizing the county software system can provide the service to their constituents at a greatly reduced price compared to outsourcing the service to the private sector. In addition, municipalities reduce their costs to taxpayers by not having to acquire, maintain and perform the administration related to the software.
