Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHW)

From the north:

A) Parkway: Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 102. At ramp end go left. Go 1 mile to traffic light. Go straight for about 500 yards and make a left into the entrance. Scales will be directly in front of you.

B) Route 18: Take Route 18 South to exit 15b (Wayside Road East). From off ramp, proceed to the traffic light. Make a right onto Shafto Road (also called Wyckoff Road). At the 2nd traffic light (1.5 mi) make a right onto Asbury Avenue. Make a right onto Asbury Avenue and follow for about 500 yards. Make a left into the entrance. Scales will be directly in front of you.

C) Highway 35: Take Highway 35 South into Eatontown. Turn right onto Wyckoff Road (Burger King on left). Proceed on Wyckoff Road for 4 miles past the Monmouth Mall. At Asbury Ave. make a right turn, then follow for about 500 yards. Make a left into the entrance. Scales will be directly in front of you.

From the south:

A) Parkway: Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 100a or 100b (Rt. 66 East). Proceed off ramp to the traffic light and make a left turn (at the Asbury Park Press building). At the fork make a left onto Essex Road. Follow Essex Road to end, at "T" make a left onto Asbury Avenue. Go about 2 miles to the traffic light. Go straight for about 500 yards and make a left into the entrance. Scales will be directly in front of you.

B) Highway 35: Take Highway 35 from the Asbury Circle, follow Route 66 West for about a mile, then look for signs for Asbury Ave. Follow Asbury Ave. for about 2.5 miles. At second traffic light (Wyckoff / Shafto Road), go straight for about 500 yards. The entrance is on the left side. Once you make the left, the scales will be directly in front of you.

C) Highway 34: Take Highway 34 North to Wyckoff Rd. Make a right on Wyckoff and take for 3 miles to the second traffic light, which will be Asbury Ave. Make a left turn onto Asbury Ave. and go straight for about 500 yards. The entrance is on the left side. Once you make the left, the scales will be directly in front of you.

Traveling from the west

Route 33 East, Route 34 South:
Follow Route 33 East & 34 South through the Collingswood Circle and follow signs for Route 33 East. At first traffic light, take jug handle, which will put you onto Wyckoff Road (also called Shafto Road). Stay on Wyckoff / Shafto Road for about 3 miles. At the first traffic light, (Asbury Ave.) make a left turn and go straight for about 500 yards. The entrance is on the left side. The scales will be directly in front of you.

Route 18 South/Headed East:
Take Route 18 South to exit 15B. Follow ramp onto Wayside Road, then Wayside Road to the traffic light. Make a right at light. You will be on Wyckoff Road (Also called Shafto Road). Take Wyckoff / Shafto Road for about two miles to the second traffic light. Make a right turn onto Asbury Avenue. Go straight for about 500 yards. The entrance is on the left side.

Headed West:
Take Route 18 North to the Route 66 West exit. Once on Route 66 West, stay in the right lane and get onto Asbury Ave., at the split (up the road about 1/2 mile). Follow Asbury Avenue for about 2.5 miles. At second traffic light (Wyckoff / Shafto Road), go straight for about 500 yards. The entrance is on the left side.

From the Parkway (all directions)
Take exit 102 for Asbury Park toward Neptune. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Tinton Falls. Turn left onto Asbury Ave. and proceed until Shafto Rd. Turn left onto Shafto Rd. The HHW Facility will be on your right.

From the West
Route 33 East, Route 34 South:
