County announces 2024 paper shredding dates
Residents can dispose of old documents safely

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is announcing that the County will be hosting paper shredding events at locations throughout the County so residents can dispose of their old documents and confidential files safely.

“The Board of County Commissioners is proud to partner with our municipalities to provide residents with 16 opportunities to dispose of their unneeded paperwork and documents,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Monmouth County Department of Public Works and Engineering. “These free events not only help residents remove some of the clutter from their homes, but they also help residents protect personal information that may be on files such as bank statements, medical records, legal documents and utility bills from identity thieves. On behalf of the Commissioners, I would like to thank our partners for partnering with us in offering this important service to our residents during 2024.”

With the exception of the July 15 event, all of the 2024 shredding events will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
