County Connection receives national recognition

for passport services

Awarded Certificate of Excellence by U.S. Department of State

 

NEPTUNE, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon is proud to announce that the Monmouth County Connection has been recognized by the U.S. Department of State for its excellent passport services. o	Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon holds the Certificate of Excellence awarded to the Monmouth County Connection by the U.S. Department of State for its excellent passport services.  

“The County Connection has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence for its performance in a recent audit conducted by the National Passport Acceptance Facility Oversight Program” said Hanlon. “This is a testament to our dedicated staff at the County Connection. I am very proud of the work we do there. We offer professional and courteous service to our Monmouth County residents.”

The Monmouth County Connection is a passport acceptance facility under the direction of County Clerk Hanlon, and is supported by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.  Passport applications are accepted Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers do not need to make an appointment.

The Monmouth County Connection is conveniently located in the strip mall at 3544 State Highway 66 in Neptune, adjacent to the Home Depot and across the street from Walmart. The office offers a variety of services including passport processing, passport photos, free notary public, veterans’ IDs, election/voter information, senior and veterans’ services, public access computers and more.
