Volunteering for Monmouth 4-H
Volunteering is an opportunity for adults to share personal interests by demonstrating their expertise with 4-H youth. In 4-H, volunteers help leverage experience and skills to help youth members find their own passions and interests.
There are several opportunities to volunteering and you can decide which level involvement fits your skills and schedule:
- Lead youth within a club or project area that your are passionate about
- Serve as a chaperone, association board member, judge or camp counselor
- Develop and support service opportunities for youth in the community
- Teach educational programs with the support of curriculum developed by 4-H
- Work with other adults to create fun and exciting programs.

Alumni Association of Monmouth 4-H
Are you a 4-H alumni who wants to become more involved? Consider volunteering for Monmouth County 4-H! Alumni are always welcome, whether they were a member of Monmouth County 4-H or a member in another 4-H county, state, or country!
The Monmouth County 4-H Alumni Association meets every other month on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Alumni serve as judges, educators, and mentors to current 4-H members throughout the year. This Association also raises funds for scholarships to give to current 4-H members who are graduating. Aside from supporting members, this association hosts several alumni social events throughout the year. Get involved and join this fun group!
