Public info session on Oceanic Bridge

at Middletown Arts Center

Location of meeting has been changed

 

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The public information session on the Oceanic Bridge scheduled for Monday, Sept., 26, has been moved from Town Hall to the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church St. The session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

 

Attendees will get an update on the overall replacement effort and will hear details about a temporary closure that is to occur from Oct. 15 through Memorial Day weekend of 2012. They also are invited to express their views on the type of bridge that will eventually be built.

 

The county is supporting a low-level movable bridge as opposed to the high-level fixed span that is preferred by the federal government, which will be funding the bridge replacement.
