Mugshots is county Library System’s new teen café
Live music and refreshments makes it a cool place to be
Looking for a new place to hang out and beat the summer heat? Cool down with “Mugshots,” a new teen cafe sponsored by the Monmouth County Library System’s Teen and Young Adult Program.
The first Mugshots café will open at the Howell Township Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 22 and will run until 8:30 p.m. Listen to live acoustic music, kick back with a coffee or a cool drink and chat with your friends. There also will be an open mic for anyone who wants to perform.
The café and refreshments are free. The program is for teens entering sixth grade and older. Register at the library holding the café by either calling the library or stopping by the reference desk.
