Freeholders wish everyone a safe, happy July 4th
County offices will be closed on Monday in observance of holiday
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend, and reminds residents that most county offices will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the holiday. All county parks and golf courses will remain open.
"As we celebrate American independence with picnics, barbecues and colorful fireworks displays, we must also remember the price we pay for freedom," Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry said. "The fact that we can get together with family and friends each year and celebrate as we wish is a testament to the freedoms American soldiers have fought for and continue to protect even today."
