Sunday’s Harvest Home Festival captures history
Celebrate the seasonal joys of pumpkins, plowing and pie eating

Harvest Home Festival

 HOLMDEL, NJ - Historic Longstreet Farm on Longstreet Road will be brimming with fall activities and entertainment for all ages from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday at the annual Harvest Home Festival.
 
This popular county Park System destination will present a miniature country fair reminiscent of the late 1890s – the time period depicted year round at the farm. Admission and all the activities are free.
 
The following events are scheduled:
  • Let’s Talk Baseball with Bradley Shaw at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • 19th  Century Magic Show with The Amazing Arni & Ingrid at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Chorus of the Atlantic (barbershop) from1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., and 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Threshing Demonstration at 12 noon, 1 p.m. and 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Plowing Demonstration at 1 to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Corn Husking Competition at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Pie-Eating Contest: Ages 8 and under at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
    Ages 9 to 14 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
    Adults at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
  • Big Pumpkin Weight Announced at  4:30 p.m.
