St. John Vianney Lady Lancers recognized
Basketball team takes 6th state champions crown

FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders presented a proclamation to the St. John Vianney High School Lady Lancers in recognition of the team’s sixth NJSIAA Tournament of Champions crown.

“I commend the members of this outstanding team for bringing great honor and distinction to themselves, their school and their community,” said Freeholder Robert D. Clifton, a St. John Vianney alumnus. “The faculty, students, families, friends and fans of St. John Vianney High School can be extremely proud of the dedicated members of this girls varsity basketball team who worked hard and achieved so much.”

Members of the 2009 Lady Lancers are Michaela Mabrey, Zoe Otterman, Jackie Kates, Katie O’Reilly, Missy Repoli, Arron Zimmerman, Clare Kerrisk, Teresa Manigrasso, Casey McKavanagh, Katelyn Linney, Jen Mulvey and Kate Wilverding and Coach Dawn Karpell, a former St. John Vianney student.
