4-H TO HOST DISCOVER THE LEADER IN YOU! LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
ON MARCH 17

4-H members representing eight counties will be participating in the Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Conference scheduled for March 17 in Monmouth County. This is the second of two leadership conferences offered in 2018. There was a Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Conference held on February 17 in Gloucester County.

In today’s world, human productivity and success are a result of leadership skills and abilities. Leadership is an essential life skill to develop in both youth. Although every young person has some leadership potential, the skills necessary to be a leader do not necessarily develop in the natural course of life.

The Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference will provide an opportunity for middle school age youth to learn about and develop leadership knowledge and skills through large and small group interactive workshops, and hands-on activities. In addition, conference participants will meet 4-H’ers from across New Jersey; make new friends and gain valuable life skills including understanding self, communicating, getting along with others, decision making, and working with groups.

4-H members participating in the Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference on March 17 includes:

          Atlantic County - Ben Capp
          Cumberland County - Isabela Saltar
