County to observe a moment of silence
9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16

FREEHOLD, NJ — In light of the recent tragedy in Orlando, the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders has organized a moment of silence for County employees at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16.

County employees have been invited to participate in a moment of silence outside of the building in which they work at the appointed time.

The Board of Freeholders are coordinating this opportunity for employees to unite and to pay respect for the lives lost, for those who are still battling for their lives and for those who are forever affected.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of Freeholders, Director Thomas A. Arnone said, “We have invited County employees who would like to honor the victims and their family and friends to meet in front of the building where you work. In most cases, employees meet by the flagpole to stand in unity with other County employees, residents and the nation.”
