Glimmer Glass Bridge maintenance on Monday
One-day closure for span that connects Brielle and Manasquan
BRIELLE, NJ – The Glimmer Glass Bridge (W-9) along Fisk Avenue between Brielle and Manasquan will undergo necessary maintenance repairs on Monday, May 16 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
To perform these repairs, the Monmouth County Division of Bridges will close the bridge’s roadway.
“Monmouth County prides itself on safety, especially with its movable bridges,” said Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the County’s Department of Public Works and Engineering. “This work must be done and we are working to limit the inconvenience.”
The bridge closure will not affect marine traffic.
