Become a Monmouth County election poll worker

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for upcoming elections. There is an urgent need for poll workers, especially in the County’s coastal towns, to work the polls on Election Day.

“Voting is one of the greatest privileges that we have as Americans,” said Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon. “Poll workers are essential to the voting process. Right now, we are asking our Monmouth County citizens to become a part of this process to help ensure fair and efficiently run elections.”

To qualify to be a poll worker, you must be a registered voter in Monmouth County and attend a poll worker training class. Classes are being scheduled now for the November General Election.

Poll workers will be compensated $200 for working a Primary Election or General Election.

For more information or to register for a training class, go to www.MonmouthCountyVotes.com or call the Monmouth County Board of Elections at 732-431-7802, ext. 7150.
