Love is in the air in Monmouth County

February fun both inside and out;

be sure to “Show a little love to the Jersey Shore” this February

FREEHOLD, NJ - Don’t let frightful February temperatures discourage you from enjoying winter in Monmouth County.  It is a great month to immerse yourself in arts and culture indoors, but what is more romantic than a moonlit stroll on the Jersey Shore either on the beach or window shopping through a downtown district? And with fresh snow on the ground, it’s even more enjoyable!

On Feb. 2 head out to your favorite Monmouth County spot to watch Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey!

This month, Monmouth County is for lovers; chocolate lovers, that is. And what would chocolate be without wine?  Wine and Chocolate Lovers’ Weekends at Four JG’s Orchards and Vineyards in Colts Neck are on Feb. 8-9 and 15-16. Visit Four JG’s tavern-like tasting room from noon to 5 p.m. any of those days for wine and chocolate tastings and live music. For Valentine’s Day theater, Count Basie has you covered with “A Valentine’s Doo Wop” on Feb. 8.

Dreaming of escaping the cold and traveling to a warmer climate? Don’t miss the first-ever Vacation Expo in Monmouth County on Feb. 9 at Sickles Market in Little Silver. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., tour representatives will offer you the best in local and world travel options.

If you prefer to stay close to home, stay warm and discover Monmouth County’s theater and music:
