Distribution centers to temporarily close
Centers to close 1 p.m. on Wednesday and will
reopen 8 a.m. on Thursday

FREEHOLD- In preparation for the Nor’easter expected to affect Monmouth County, the three distribution sites set up throughout the county to assist in relief efforts from Hurricane Sandy will close at 1 p.m. today and are scheduled to re-open at 8a.m.on Thursday, November 8.

The three distribution sites are as follows:

  • Holy Family Church – 910 Route 36 Hazlet
  • Monmouth Park – Oceanport Ave., Oceanport
  • Peddler’s Village – (formerly known as the Circle Factory Outlet) 1407 Atlantic Ave., Manasquan.

The donation center set up at Thompson Park in Lincroft located at 805 Newman Springs Rd. will be accepting donations until 4 p.m. today and is scheduled to resume operations Thursday, November 8 at 8 a.m.

The Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management wants to ensure the safety and security of all its residents and is recommending that people stay off the roadways during the storm.
